WARZEN is a collection by DIGI[FILIA] that is born during the great war when Ukraine is defending its freedom/existence from bloodthirsty russia. This is a story about women who, despite the dark times, strive to keep their inner light.
The theme of the images - as well as the style of the future DIGI[FILIA] collections - is the modern Ukrainian image (both of Ukrainian women and Ukraine as a whole) - here and now - is the closest combination of historical and cultural heritage and modern realities in a tense state of endurance and struggle for a worthy place in the world of high technology and values. That is, the essence of the image is the famous Heritage+Zeitgeist, where Heritage is the traditional culture, folk art, and history, such as Ukrainian dress, embroidery, motanka, pysanky, dishes, cuisine, architecture, art, and Zeitgeist is the current martial law and the lifestyle of today's Ukrainian woman adapted to it, in which modern technology, education, reactive improvement, creativity, incredible patriotism, stoicism, and the desire for harmony despite extremely unfavorable conditions (Zen under rockets) are the leading positions.
This concept finds its expression in traditional shapes, patterns, and silhouette elements made in a modern manner. For example, the silhouette has the characteristic features of sleeves, belts, and skirts, only in a modern interpretation with the use of new materials and technologies; fabrics resemble materials of electronic devices with rounded shapes, varying degrees of transparency, and light effects; patterns combine graphics of traditional symbols and modern microcircuits (spare parts); the same principles are used for accessories - beads, wreaths, scythes, and hairstyles. Military elements include a balaclava, boots, and armor.
